2024 Columbia County Fair and Rodeo Queen

Madison Blackburn

Madison is the 18-year-old daughter of Nick & Stacy Blackburn. Madison was raised alongside her brother Ashton and younger sister Taylor in St. Helens, Oregon.

Madison is a 2023 graduate with honors from St. Helens High School, where she was active in 4-H, Varsity Volleyball and Oregon High School Equestrian Team. Madison is a scholar athlete, competing in multiple disciplines in individual and team events, qualifying for State and Regionals each year she was eligible.

Madison is currently enrolled at Portland Community College, where she plans to pursue her Associates of Science Degree in pre-nursing, then transferring to a university.

Madison is in her 9th and final year of the Rodeo Riders 4-H club with her horse project. She is also in her 3rd and final year with the Northwest Youth Rodeo Association (NWYRA) having competed in barrels, pole bending, and goat tying. Outside of horses you can find her camping, wake surfing, hunting & fishing.

Madison is excited at the opportunity to travel across Oregon, meeting new acquaintances and representing Columbia County!






2024 Columbia County Fair and Rodeo Princess

Lindsay Weltsch

Lindsay is the 18-year-old daughter of Michael and Erica Weltsch and Patricia Parnell. Lindsay was raised in St. Helens Oregon alongside her two older siblings, Natalie and Gavin.

Lindsay is a 2023 graduate from St. Helens high school, where she was a four-year varsity athlete in the St. Helens High School Equestrian Team competing in multiple disciplines in individual and team events, qualifying for state each year she was eligible. Lindsay also completed her ninth year as a 4-H member where she showed Rabbits and Horses. She has now gone on to continue to volunteer in the 4-H program as a Club Leader. Lindsay is also enrolled at Portland community college, where she will pursue her associates degree in fire protection technology to later become an EMT Paramedic/Firefighter.

Outside of horses you can find Lindsay spending time with her friends and family, volunteering at the local fire department, riding ATV’s, hunting, and fishing.

She hopes to inspire future generations to be outgoing and to never give up on their dreams!

Princess Lindsay is very excited for this next adventure on the rodeo road, traveling across Oregon and Washington, meeting new people while representing Columbia County!
