IMPORTANT: Rodeo Seating Information for 2026

Due to grandstand capacity requirements, all spectators wishing to sit in the main grandstands during the NPRA Rodeo must purchase a rodeo seat ticket.

Main Grandstand Seating

  • $5 per seat
  • Reserved seating with assigned seat numbers
  • Entry into the grandstands will require a valid rodeo seat ticket

VIP Seating

  • VIP seating options will also be available for purchase.

Reserved Accessible Seating

  • Friday Night: 25 spots
  • Saturday Night: 25 spots
  • $20 per spot (plus applicable fees)
  • Each reserved spot accommodates up to 4 people. You will receive 4 tickets.
  • One member of the group must meet the disclaimer below.
Disclaimer: Reserved accessible seating is intended for guests with disabilities or mobility limitations, including those who use wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids. Please reserve these seats only if they are needed for accessibility.

🎟️ A rodeo seat ticket does NOT include admission to the fair.

If you plan to attend the fair and the rodeo, you must purchase:

  1. A fair admission ticket, and
  2. A rodeo seat ticket (Main Grandstand (Bleachers) or VIP)

How to Purchase

Rodeo seat tickets can be purchased through Afton's online ticketing system. Simply select the rodeo performance you wish to attend and then choose your preferred seating option.

We encourage everyone to purchase tickets early to secure their preferred seats!

🎡 Carnival Hours

  • Wednesday, July 15: Opens at 1:00 PM
  • Thursday, July 16: Opens at 1:00 PM
  • Friday, July 17: Opens at 1:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 18: Opens at 12:00 PM

Please Note: Carnival closing times may vary due to weather, crowd size, and crowd management needs, but the carnival typically operates until approximately 10:00 PM each evening.

Important Presale Information: Presale wristbands are available ONLINE ONLY. The Fair Office will not be selling presale wristbands this year due to ticketing and redemption issues experienced in previous years.

Important: Wristbands are valid for one rider, one day only and must remain securely attached to the rider's wrist. Lost, damaged, or removed wristbands cannot be replaced.


Frequently Asked Questions

What if the weather turns bad?

We cannot be responsible for weather-related conditions and do not offer refunds due to weather. For safety reasons, certain rides may temporarily close during unsafe weather conditions.

Can I exchange or refund ride tickets?

No. All ticket and wristband sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided after purchase.

Do you accept credit and debit cards?

Most ticket booths accept major credit and debit cards. However, connectivity can vary since the carnival travels from location to location. ATMs are typically available on the midway for your convenience.

Are there age restrictions?

Children under the age of 2 are not permitted on any rides. Riders should be in good health and free from any condition that could be aggravated by ride participation.

Do parents need a ticket to ride with their child?

Yes. Every rider must have a valid ticket or wristband, regardless of age.

Are there height requirements?

Yes. Height and safety requirements are posted at each ride and are strictly enforced. Some rides also require closed-toe shoes.

What should I wear?

For your safety, we recommend:

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Avoid loose-fitting garments
  • Tie back long hair before riding

🎠 Ride Safety Tips

Our rides are equipped with modern safety equipment and are inspected daily. Please help us keep everyone safe by following these guidelines:

  • Walk — do not run on the midway
  • Use caution when entering and exiting rides
  • Secure loose articles before riding
  • Hold onto lap bars and safety restraints
  • Remain seated at all times while the ride is operating
  • Do not rock or intentionally move ride seats
  • Keep hands, arms, legs, and feet inside the ride at all times
  • Stay seated until the ride comes to a complete stop
  • Wait for the ride attendant to release restraints
  • Follow all directions provided by ride operators
  • Do not distract ride operators while rides are in motion
